Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Rinpil account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Rinpil offers monthly and annual subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically at the start of each billing period at the then-current price. You can cancel anytime from the Subscription page; cancellation stops future renewals. First Year Free accounts convert to $0.99/month after 12 months and require a payment method to continue.

Refunds. Except where required by law, all subscription fees are non-refundable. Partial-month refunds are not provided.

Wind-down window. If your subscription lapses, you have 7 days (First Year Free) or 10 days (paid tiers) to renew, upgrade, update your payment method, or download all videos. After that window, videos are permanently deleted and the account is closed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload or transmit content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent, exploitative of minors, harassing, defamatory, or infringing on someone else's intellectual property or privacy. See our Community Guidelines for the full list.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of every video, image, and message you upload. You grant Rinpil a limited license to store, process, and deliver that content solely to operate the service you asked for. The Rinpil software, brand, and site design remain ours.

6. No guarantee of eternal storage

Rinpil provides a digital memory storage and delivery service but does not guarantee delivery of content indefinitely under all circumstances, including account inactivity, non-payment, legal requirements, technology changes, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our control. We will always attempt to notify you before any content is lost, and we always offer a one-click "download all videos" option before deletion. 7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from /delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or where required by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rinpil is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event will Rinpil, its owners, or its service providers be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any loss of stored or undelivered content.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rinpil is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes

If we change these Terms materially, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
