The First Year Free tier is the only plan that doesn't ask for a card at signup. After 12 months it converts to $0.99/month automatically — you'll get reminders at 30, 7, and 1 day before, plus a 7-day window to renew, upgrade, update your payment method, or download all of your videos with one click. On the paid tiers (Keepsake, Milestones, Heirloom), if your plan lapses you get a 10-day window with daily reminders to do the same. At the end of the window, if no active subscription is in place, your videos are permanently deleted and the account is closed for privacy — there is no read-only holding state on any plan.
